Dotun is passionate about humanitarian affairs, conflict resolution, community engagement, youth and sustainable development.
He holds a Bsc. in International Law and Diplomacy from Babcock University and a Masters Degree in Humanitarian and refugee studies.
As a dispute resolution practitioner in an international dispute resolution firm, he participated in various community dispute resolution projects aimed at rebuilding the capacity of rural communities to amicably resolve disputes and foster peace.
In addition to this, he has over 3 years volunteer experience in professional associations, NGOs and community based organisations within and outside Nigeria, who are development focused and/or provide development opportunities for youth, women and vulnerable populations.
Dotun is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Society of Nigeria. In addition to English, he speaks French and Yoruba languages.
