Hansatu is a social sector professional with a personal mission statement to positively inspire, impact and invest in lives. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) in Lagos.
She is a graduate of Business Administration from the University of Abuja with an Action Learning MBA from Business School Netherlands. She is also an alumnus of the Harvard Business School Boston, USA in Strategic Perspectives in Non-profit Management. She also has a certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from the Enterprise Development Centre in both Abuja and Lagos, Nigeria.
She is a United Nations Women Regional political leadership and candidate trainer, a certified International Finance Corporation & Learning Performance Institute UK Trainer, a certified Business Development Service Provider by the Small & Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) and a United Kingdom certified Associated Stress Consultant.
Hansatu serves on the African Development Bank and United Nations Women in partnership with the Ministry of Women Affairs, National Steering Committee on Women’s Economic Empowerment through the Affirmative Procurement Project for Women in Nigeria. She is also a European Union and United Nations Women Private Sector Facilitator on Gender Concepts & Equality.
She currently serves as the Chairperson of the Training and Development Committee of the Association of Nigerian Businesswomen’s Network (ANWBN) having served the previous year as the Chairperson for the Governance & Constitution Committee. She is a member of the International Advisory Board as well as a member of the Nigerian Governing Council of Business School Netherlands International. Hansatu is a Life Member of the Enterprise Development Center and WIMBIZ respectively.
She was awarded the 2022 Woman of Excellence Award by the Federal Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen OFR, KSG in Nigeria as well as the Voice of Women 2022 Woman of the Year Award by Women’s Radio in recognition of her outstanding performance admirable leadership, work ethics and excellence in the social sector and gender economic empowerment sector.
She currently sits on 4 Small & Medium Enterprise Boards, 4 non-profit Boards as well as serves as an Advisory Committee member to a few of organizations. She is a self-motivated energetic leader who is very passionate about volunteering, women’s economic empowerment and motivational speaking.
